Blending Operator

Health Wright Products is a privately held Contract Manufacturer of Nutritional Supplements that is seeking a Blending Operator to join our expanding organization. We have an 22 year history of significant growth but feel we are still just at the beginning cycle of our potential in the US Nutritional Supplements market. Job: Blending Operator

Shifts Available:

Swing, Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm

Night, Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6:30am

Pay: $15/hr - Full time, Non-Exempt position / $1/hr shift differential for nights

Overtime may be required.

JOB SUMMARY:

The main responsibility of this position is involves the process of accurately selecting materials off a batch record to be blended to make up a finished good. There are Standard Operating Procedures for blending & weighing up each raw material. The operator must have the ability to calculate the number of capsules that are to be produced to confirm the blend is accurate.

The operator is responsible for the cleaning and set-up of the machine. Work is based on specific guidelines for each machine and part. Products come in various forms (buckets, bags, bins,). Operators will be lifting and pouring blended product to shoulder height.

EDUCATION/SKILL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
A. High School diploma or GED required.
B. NCRC preferred
C. Three to six years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Target industries include pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, electronic, chemical, cosmetics, and/or food.
D. Ability to read and write& communicate in English, use basic shop math skills, algebra, and basic computer skills.
E. Hand truck, electric forklift experience preferred
F. Experience with FDA/cGMP compliance is preferred
G. A legal right to work in the United States
H. Must pass a drug screen and a background check in accordance with HWP standards.
